Who we are

Madamombe-Shumbamhini Attorneys is a black female owned legal practice established in 2020. The firm offers a comprehensive range of legal services. Within a short space of time, we have managed to position ourselves as upcoming, change adaptive and growing competitors in the complex yet exciting legal landscape.

Criminal Law

Advice and representation in criminal matters, bail applications and criminal defence.

Divorce and Maintenance

We are aware of the sensitivity around divorce. Our aim is to make the process less stressful as we offer guidance and representation, mediation, negotiation and drafting of documents in divorce and maintenance matters.

Civil litigation

We offer services for individuals considering legal action as well as those who are threatened with legal action.

Deceased Estates

Our services include the drafting of wills, registering trusts and the administration of deceased estates by offering advice to heirs and executors, as well as preparation of documents for submission to the Master of the High Court.

Road Accident Fund Claims

We offer advice and guidance to victims and dependants of motor vehicle accidents in instituting claims against the Road Accident Fund.

Labour Law

Our services include legal advice on labour and employment law, unfair dismissal disputes, unfair labour practice disputes and representation at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils and the Labour Court.

Madamombe-Shumbamhini Attorneys was founded by Patience Shumbamhini. With over 7 years legal experience, Ms Shumbamhini has an LLB from UNISA and LLM from the University of Cape Town. Having gained invaluable experience over the years, she is always hands to ensure client satisfaction.


